I repeat - Darwin had nothing to say about the origin of the universe, nor about the origin of life on Earth. He wrote about speciation of life as it already existed on a world that already existed in a universe that already existed.

I don't know anything about this Dennett you quote but can't keep track of all the people who claim Darwin's mantle. They're innumerable. And irrelevant to the point at hand.

If you want to criticize Darwin, then criticize Darwin. What, if anything, did he actually say that was wrong?
