I think we may follow the UK. There was a loooooong pause after the last hike and the first cut. There was another long pause (since August) and we still have not seen another cut although one is priced in for February. If we follow that path, things can get a lot nastier by the time that first cut happens. If $Ben want to prove he is an "inflation fighter" he will hold off on cutting as long as he can. I will guess 3-4 months minimum between pause and cut. The UK went way longer than that. Mish
