Rendering of hearts is what the USA military does to political prisoners needing a dose of interviewing techniques more strenuous than water-boarding and other nastiness. It's interesting that there was even a significant debate on whether torture is a good idea or not. It's not surprising that somebody such as McCain who has experienced torture thinks it's not such a good idea. King George II of course thought it spiffing. Mqurice
