Frankly, I dont think there is any home atmosphere to ruin and those that are decent parents will WELCOME the clean, safe, structured housing. I think you are about my age. When we joined the service they didnt have the standards that exist today. I know in my unit there were a number of "street toughs" out of the large inner cities of Eastern USA. Mainly NYC and Philly. Well, they ALL became responsible citizens after the USMC got done training them. It was a turning point in their lives. jdn
