Almost two decades later, we were letting our hair grow long and wearing bell bottom jeans. I had some that could hide the fact I was bare foot. My father bought his Hassleblad about that time, so somewhere there are some really great photos documenting what I looked like when I was at home. I did not realize Elvis won his Grammy's for gospel music. It is not surprising. His later "success" was closely guarded by Colonel Pickering. It is widely believed that the Colonel hurt Elvis greatly.
