70% oppose Alito if he admits to being anti womens rights. He is on record wanting Roe overturned so he may have to lie to get approved. Also, he will be grilled on his positions about the president illegally spying on US citizens, and other alarming questions which have come up within the past few weeks. Don't count Alito in at all. If he loses Arlen Specter, he won't be confirmed. Specter is currently furious at the White House for ignoring congressional oversight. And Arlen has nothing to lose opposing Bush. He is soon to retire.
