Your ignorance is showing. There hasn't been an election since McCain's bill was voted on.

Most of the changes became effective November 6, 2002; however, changes involving contribution limits took effect with regard to contributions made on or after January 1, 2003. Links to resources regarding the changes in the law appear at the top of this page.

TP, There hasn't been an election since McCain's bill was voted on.

McCain-Feingold took effect after the elections of 2002. Since then, the "soft money" moved to the 527 organizations like MoveOver.org.
