Yes, the European settlers used non symmetrical warfare to rid the land of the previous inhabitants. I cannot understand it, nor can I apologize for it. Yet, some Americans have learned from the mistakes of the past. President Bush is leading America in doing for Iraq what could have been done for previously native Americans. Those who have not learned from the mistakes of the past are criticizing him for his course. This is the beauty I chose to admire. The beauty of my country being ethical and moral even in the face of criticism of those that hates this country from both within and without.
