If the warrant wasn't specified I would not have answered yes to what I think it an obviously deceptive question, given what I have read in widely-available media about the situation. I disagree you can't ask about the details. Joe Schmo may not have the details on his own, but if you give him all the information instead of trying to gerrymander the result, you may get a more informed answer than you suspect. My sadness isn't just the deliberate know-nothings. It's finding that so many otherwise intelligent American citizens either don't know or don't care about the standards laid down by the Founding Fathers that mean that they don't have to get screwed by authority whenever someone in office deems it necessary. We don't get mad about that any more. People screech about government spending and regulation and issues they don't have any real facts about except anecdotes, but they will let the President crawl up their backside 24/7 if they are scared enough. That makes me mad. We shouldn't have let ourselves fall that far.
