I think that MANY congresspeople will have received monies from Abramoff, the question is did that money buy a favor? That will be much harder to prove but in the case of Reid seems directly connected to a payoff. personally, I think ALL PAYMENTS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL and the only monies Politicians should be able to raise are small individual amounts from US CITIZENS not to exceed say $1,000 per person per year. jdn

Poor GWB had to give up his Abramoff contributions too. The culture of corruption extends all the way up the Repug. party.
