I did not have that done. Did not know about it until you just said it. This thread is about America's need for alternative fuels, and anything else that Wharfy states. It is not about you attacking me. You are a loser, rail-riding wannabe. Go away. Just go away from here to the Bush threads.

I have been invited by Sioux to join his thread on several occasions over the past year. I understand his temperament, so I have been careful to express myself in a polite and congenial manner on his thread. I have dealt with topics and issues in a rational way over the past year or so on his thread and have taken insults from 'Pals' on his thread without returning fire. I was accused of posting otherwise on Sioux's thread but when I challenged Sioux and 'Pals' to identify such a post, none could come up with one. I am a registered independent and vote according to my conscience. I have supported republicans and democrats in recent elections as well as third party candidates, and answer to no one for my decisions. I have been a registered democrat before but have never registered as a Republican. When I have posted on his thread, the pals appear to become unnerved and begin complaining about my presence within their group. Not so much because of my contribution but because of what or who they think I represent. When Sioux can find no legitimate reason to ban me he offers me a forced choice of candidates to cast my support behind. When I ignore that, he bans me. I abhor bigotry, propagandized ignorance, and oppression in all forms. Sioux's thread has become the epitome of group think that engenders these characteristics. The participants express nothing but hatred for anything and anybody that does not cow tow to thier artificial group ID. I am trying to take a break from SI because I am frustrated with the lack of willingness to engage in true discussion and the consciousness of the oppressive thought police at both extremes of the political spectrum ... who seem to be holding the reigns of discussion. Your post was brought to my attention, so I thought I would get off my tush for this one post. I will lurk from time to time and may get back involved if the stink in the air clears a bit.
