For you and your ilk, the future of the US of A and of Iraq take a back seat to your bank account. LOL!! Yeah... people like us are willing to risk being killed for mortars and rockets, or IEDs, just because we pray to the almighty dollar. Try to find a job stateside and get the heck out of there. You and your ilk are making the world so much more dangerous for Americans. Hmm... what a great feat of dysfunctional logic you've provided us in order to cloak your stupidity and naivete. Why not just come out and say that you're an elitist and Malthusian who outright believes that everyone in the mid-east is a sub-human and utterly incapable and undeserving of living in a democratic society?? It's apparent that you're a racist and that you're unwilling to lift a finger to help those who would like to live under a democratic society. I certainly wouldn't want to be your neighbor. I can only imagine that if you lived in a city where violent gang crime was terrorizing people, you'd just sit back and claim that the police were making things more dangerous. The only reality you see is cowardice and elitist indifference, as well as a willingness to see tens of thousands of Iraqis kill each other in a civil war. And you, and people of your ilk, are perfectly content to have their blood on your hands.. Because you think you can easily remove yourself from any blame because you weren't in favor of overthrowing an intransigent dictator who was defying the United Nations. You're hardly a patriot. A patriot stands up and shows that not only does he believe he deserves to live under the values embodied in our constitution, BUT ALSO that EVERYONE ELSE DESERVES TO LIVE IN SUCH A SOCIETY. It is YOU, not me, who is selfish.. Willingly profiteering economically off the misery and tyranny that pervades the rest of the world. All because people like you have nothing but contempt for other human beings. The kind of contempt that breeds the kind of Anti-American hatred that leads people to believe they can attack us with impunity because we won't respond. Bottom line, you may not have agreed with overthrowing Saddam.. But it's INEXCUSABLE that you're unwilling to assist Iraqis in defending themselves from the same kind of people, Al Qai'da, who attacked us on 9/11. Hawk

I was listening to a discussion on a talking head show with some military experts as they were discussing America's draw down from Iraq in 2006. One of them made the point that the best way to improve our progress with the "hearts and minds" in Iraq would be to draw down the number of civilian mercenaries like Hawkmoon. The guy said that the Iraqis HATE them with a passion, even those Iraqis that are our allies. According to this ex-general, they represent the absolute worst of American militaristic capitalism, and just by being there and doing what they do they set America's mission back and destroy any good will we might achieve.
