Bush cannot use the "national security" excuse. His people outed a CIA agent on WMD during war-time dealing with WMD threats. They have no credibility left there. Plus, Bush ignored the 8-6-01 warnings about imminent AL Qaida attacks and has totally bungled the occupation of Iraq. Also, highly unlikely Bush did not illegally spy on domestic political opponents, as opposed to Al Qaida.

This is simply hiding behind executive privilege as Bush tries to appoint himself semi-dictator of the USA. Time to take this bastard down and flush he and all his corrupt cronies out of government. The USA deserves a lot better.

What stupidity! As if nobody knew Dumbya was spying. I have seen people hold back their credit cards and instead pay cash when seeing Fahrenheit 911 and in book stores when they buy books critical of Dumbya and his corrupt gang. And that was some Americans right here in the US! How much more suspicious would foreign nationals be? I guess, a whole lot more.

It will be utterly naive for one to presume that Dumbya was not spying on us. People suspected he was spying as far back as 4 years ago, if not longer.

As Nixon learned, breaking the law is fatal, not to your opponents, though it may hurt them temporarily, but to oneself. Expect Bush to go the route of Nixon, and Cheney the route of Agnew.
