Hey, I'm not going to belabor the argument further about you. You struck me as a phoney, so I said as much. Simple as that. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong.

The house is in the Hamptons. I won't be more specific than that for obvious reasons. It's actually a family compound that has been handed down from my Grand Parents, to my Parents, and now to my Brother and I. My Brother lives there year round and maintains the place. I visit when I can.

The Hamptons is what NYC people have made it, which is why I don't like cities or city people (I grew up in Upstate, NY). Even though our place is pretty private (you'll never find it or see it from the road), we've still had battles with our one visible neighbor who is a NYC Stockbroker and a complete A-hole. The first thing he did after buying his place a few years ago was proceed to cut down trees on our property. Typical.

But hey we keep the property because the acreage alone makes it a rare find and it's a great area to do some sailing. We could subdivide it and make a killing but we like it just the way it is. As long as we can afford to pay the taxes, it will continue to be in our family.
