Oh, hell no! It was no hogwash! It is considered to be of such monumental importance in European history that it has metamorphosed into a Sacred Cow which everyone has to worship lest the thunderous sounds of threats be heard and some crybabies go a-whining or a-bawling all day long. However, to some folks, as is to be expected always, it is part-myth and part-propaganda, though it did happen. But, sadly for the Palestinians, it was hijacked to create, to arm, and to fund Israel big-time for all its activities, both legal and otherwise.
