6.5 trillion in deficit spending can drive any economy. In fact, it should be much-much better considering Bush-Delay have deficit spent more than all 42 former presidents combined. Nixon had a great economy during Vietnam too, similar to this one, mostly based on deficit spending. We still haven;'t paid for that awful war. Nor will we be paying for this one anytime soon.

Like the fact Bush is mainly borrowing money from the communist Chinese to fund his "boom". CLinton hgad an even bigger job and ten times as many new jobs and it was ALL PAID FOR plus surpluses. Huge difference.
