Yes, and their family structure falls apart once they're here. Especially in urban areas. Rates of illegitimacy go through the roof and the kids join gangs which rival the Crips and the Bloods.

Remember the social structure they come from. El mordida, the bite, is a way of life in Mexico.

I was down there working every year from '71 to '84, back the year before last. They're passive, accepting of the power structure. Graft is the way of life. Hopelessness to change the system is engrained.

With PC, they're not being taught American values. It's not in the interest of the leadership here.

If you want America to turn into Mexico, and truly know Mexico, keep the borders open. It may be too late anyway because of demographics.

As a generalization, I agree with all the positive things you say about Mexicans. I love the country and like the people, but if I wanted to move to Mexico City, I would do so.

Instead, it's being brought to me. Wait a decades and you'll be celebrating Cinco de Mayo and not Carnival in New Orleans.
