Their business is primarily animal healtcare services including animal hospitals and veterinary diagnostic labs,they also have a division that deals in medical technology that sells diagnostic ultrasound and digital radiography imaging equipment for veterinarians.They reportedly have more than 300 animal hospitals.

They have continued to report better revenues and earnings have also shown a significant increase. For the current fiscal year the EE are around $0.94/shr vs. $0.76/shr in 2004 and for 2006 the EE are expected to show another 15% improvement.

The PE is around 32 (expected to come down to 27 next year) They have a large LTD but have a +CF of $0.98 (around $105M) The insiders reportedly hold around 5% and there is a good size institutional following:(just take a look <g>)

Fred too, My original post was a case of Elisabeth gettin' a tad silly in the middle of the afternoon..I was indeed doing JPM homework and I was tickled about finding a pet health care company-g-

But indeed I will check it out..

An aside re: JPM..it's my second year..not sure if its me or what but I'm surprised by how many 'tool' companies there are(high tech cardiology instruments), respiratory equipment etc and even a physician staffing company(The Hospitalist Co)..Bernard, I imagine that you're aware of the latter being a growing specialty?..private practice internists getting tired of being woken up-g-
