Hopefully, with the help of the judiciary, the Bush power play won't stand. It sure doesn't look like its going to be a slam dunk. The only thing that I can think of to explain the Bush behavior re. torture and wiretapping is that over the past 5 years, they have become very used to having their own way; that they believe most people are cream puffs and will fold rather than oppose them; and that, like Coulter, they believe the people are behind them. Let's hope its another example of their arrogance and their need to overreach. ted
