This post is not to defend Robertson but to point out that some religious, or so-called religious leaders, have strong opinions which they voice to their listeners or readers. Some comments seem to be reflected from the Bible. Others come from - only God knows where. Such as: Farrakhan's comment about the blowing up the dikes in New Orleans so it would flood the blacks; Jesse Jackson's Hymietown comment about NYC; or his accusation that the media in referring to the Katrina victims as refugees was a racist tag; Al Sharpton comments charge that the NY AG, appointed by Mario Cuomo, was tantamount to a Hitler in regard to handling the Tawana Brawley hoax some years ago.
