Also, if a large enough magnetic field was created, the craft would slip into a different dimension, where the speed of light is faster, allowing incredible speeds to be reached. Switching off the magnetic field would result in the engine reappearing in our current dimension

You've got to be kidding me. They're talking about warp drive!

Just what we have always dreamed of, Derek. A "FTL" drive!

I can't imagine a magnetic field big enough to "warp" into a different dimension. A planet's field isn't big enough, so...

But its wild stuff I like to read about. :)
