If we were serious we should think about a WW2 type invasion by the US, Nato, turkey. But of course thats too costly. For arguments sake, How would a US led war on iran in WW2 fashion play out on the ground?? How long would it take to win? Would the mullahs fall quickly? Could they use wmds they may have? How modern is their army. How good is their army? How long will they fight? What about the students? This is a war games quesiton only and should be taken as such and not as a proposal.
