The stuff going on in the muni market is getting a lot of press lately and I do expect it to be a huge market, however the economic justification is difficult to make in many cases. The combination of public safety and public access seems to be the best model so far. Most of the WISPs are don't have any money so it is sketchy market. However, some of the specialized applications and especially linear topologies with mobility can be justified pretty easily. I have a couple of commuter rail applications going in right now that are pretty interesting. From a sales perspective (yeah, I'm a salespuke), the low hanging fruit isn't the muni stuff, but rather government, military and transportation. Mining is also a very interesting application for wifi networks.
