Nope, it doesn't work that way. There will be a ripple effect for a few dollars above minimum wage and then it dies out.

And in any case, if that was the way the game was played, every time a corporate fat cat was paid 100% more, the minimum wage would have had to go up by 100% too.

Bush gave the CEO fat cats a huge raise. What's wrong with the poorest workers getting a small raise?
Who are you, the cheerleader for billionaires getting richer? Remember one thing, they pick your pocket too if we let them. And Bush not only lets them he encourages them. Encourage greed and you have gluttony and out of control criminal sin.
