Buy Tyco instead. 4.7 bill FCF. 1.5 bill pension costs owed. An Warren the Buffett just bought 10bill dollars worth of stock.

TYC has about 1 point upside potential and 15 points down side potential. That's a helluva bad r/r.

As for its cash flow I see where it has recently gone positive, but that's no indication of anything. Check the components whatever they may mean. Yuk.

Haven't you been following my comments on FCF or CF? They are meaningless and useless when trying to evaluate a company and only deal with internal operating considerations of value only to managerial tactics. Better watch NI. In TYC it fluctuates erratically. Trying to get four big cylinders to fire together is difficult.

Why would you mention the pension drag? Relative to big BK operators?

As for Buffett, haven't you learned from my many comments about him and his investments to realize he's no better than mediocre at best? You can do no worse than hang your investment on some big name. In fact, the only thing that keeps BRK from total disaster is its oil position.

Is TYC a short candidate? No. It could run up to 40 before eventually rolling over and falling to 15. Interest rate trouble is still down stream when the markets realize FED isn't done.
