Reminds me of Father Guido Sarducci's report on the discovery by the Vatican astronomers of a planet that is going away from earth 2X the speed of light, at the same time it's coming towards Earth at 3X the speed of light. Half the people are getting older and half are getting younger. (If you marry an 18 year old woman going the wrong way you could be in big trouble)

each spins clockwise and counterclockwise simultaneously.

Right about here is where I'm supposed to tell you that extending quantum magic into the macro world could pave the way for devices such as quantum computers, which would leave conventional computers in the dust

What's wild about entanglement is the possibility of faster-than-light communications. It theoretically allows the possibility of communicating between two points whole galaxies apart. Sure beats a 10 minute one-way delay between Earth and Mars.

...the next scientific revolution "could be a dissolution of the strict distinction between reality and fiction."

Ahhh...science mimics journalism. Mapes and Rather will be exonerated by quantum physics.
