Hi Frank,

>>Atheros Demos MIMO WLAN Solutions<<

What matters is the Summer silicon.

It will be time for you to read up on 802.11n after our next meeting closes Jan 20th.

EWC is doing all the compromising to construct a first draft (festooned with options, just like the Federal budget), that will be handed to the Joint Proposal team, that will present it to 802.11n in the week of January 15th.

Since there are so many options, the peak rate may be above 500 Mbps, but your milage may vary.

The details to watch are what are made mandatory in the first draft, and who is driving EWC [reference Viiv note I just posted].
