Of course, I do try to keep predictability to a minimum.

For example, my beloved spouse insists
that when I tell him I will leave work at a given
time, that the actual time of departure will inevitably
be at least 30 minutes later. Imagine that.

I thinks it's due to his long exposure to the airline
industry---he understands the concept of ETD's and ETA's.
My schedule typically falls into the same category...
