Mystery Milk: your corporate Government at work.... An FDA proposal would change ice cream standards. The FDA, following the ice cream manufacturers' lobby, wants to allow 'milk from species other than cows' in our ice cream. Also before the FDA for consideration is nebulous language by which the agency hopes to defuse the Aspartame/NutraSweet advisory label on the front panel of the ice cream package. :) You can find the proposed FDA rule change in the Federal Register (gpoaccess.gov/fr): Volume 70, 2005, page 56409.
