Since I'm working off of second hand info, I'll defer. I just found it interesting that, even knowing of the issue, he couldn't see the allegory. He said that what the lion did was due to witches' spells, which aren't exactly central to Christian theology.

I will probably watch Book of Daniel tonite, not something that would have interested me but for the controversy. I had read that folks were taking exception to the less than model characters in the story. Then yesterday I read that the problem is not just that but that a focus group disapproved of the protagonist as a minister saying there were problems in his theology. Not that I would be able to pick those out, but I'll check it out anyway.
