"If almost all of the IEDs being placed in Iraq by the terrorists are of Iranian origin" But they AREN'T. (And, you never provided even a SHRED of evidence to suggest that they are.) It ain't all that hard to improvise an IED in Iraq --- the nation is AWASH in munitions, abandoned arms dumps are all over the place... not to mention all that was 'looted' in the early months.

You need to get the players straight, Peter! Iran is arming & training the SHI'A Militias... which are FIGHTING the SUNNI 'insurgents' which are BLOWING up the Shi'a mosques and people. Iran is NOT arming their traditional enemies the Bathists and Sunnis!!!!!!!!!!! The Sunni and Bathist insurgency in Iraq is financed and resupplied from fellow Sunnis in Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, etc., but there is little need to 'import' explosives into Iraq... the place is literally awash with munitions. (Money is mostly all it takes. I hear they are paying people $100 to dig a hole by the side of the road, and another $100 to put an IED in it....)
