"remotely competitive"

You sound like an intel pr person. I did see this comment:

"Our only complaint is that the system gets warm with all that power running under the hood. Battery life wasn't mind-blowing, but the 3:47 (hrs:min) score on our MobileMark 2005 tests was respectable."

I thought the promise was less power consumption. Doesn't sound like it to me.

AND its an old 32-bit system!

No I think you'll find its the centrino platform that's not competing.

Keith, very sorry to offend. I was not trying to step on your toes. I had interpreted your earlier after summer remarks about DC Turion clearly as that they would appear in Q3 '06. So your other remarks that said H1 '06 I interpreted in the same light like meaning very end of H1 putting it effectively in Q3. I do not remember seeing remarks that it would appear this quarter like Anand is saying (probably meaning retail availability during Q2). In my mind it was a difference of one quarter, hence the remark.

Regards,

Rink
