Quit lying to defend crooked politicians. Bush obviously committed a crime and is trying to put himself above the law using his "war" as an excuse, the war he started voluntarily. The war on terror has been going on for 30 years. It's no excuse to spy on domectic enemies without a warrant. That's why the FISA court is there, to protect us, but also to protect us from an out of control totalitarian president. Bet you anything Bush spied on the Kerry campaign, the press, lawyers, judges and whomever else threatened him. It fits Bush's pattern of behavior.
