Gus > Chinese aid is often in the form of infrastructure, such as a railroad network in Nigeria or roads in Kenya and Rwanda. Or in the form of doctors and nurses to provide health care to people who otherwise would not have access to such medical care. In addition, China provides scholarships for African students to study in its universities .... USSR and Cuba did that 20-30 years ago already. Also China put in the Tan-Zan railway at enormous cost. But what is there to show for it all? The West is smart -- it keeps its "aid" in its own pocket and lets the politicians and their wives come to the countries of the "givers" to spend it. It's simply a bribe, in other words.
