See my 2nd sentence. You missed it. LOL!

What makes you think I missed your second sentence, which was "I've just read the other reviews, and decided to not watch trash."? I think it should be pretty clear in my post that I was aware that you had not seen the show and were relying on pre-broadcast commentary when I said "You don't sound curious. It sounds like you bought into the outrage machine's pre-broadcast reaction, hook, line, and sinker."

So did you recommend this program as one to see and waste time with

My original commentary on the show related to the controversy. I offered no observations on the show's quality and no recommendation.

I don't care for soaps, either. This show is not something I would normally watch nor would I particularly recommend it. I would not have watched it but for the controversy. I may watch a few more episodes to see how the controversy goes.

For folks who like soaps but would prefer something tamer than most TV fare, I guess it would be an OK show. I could recommend it to them. It's definitely not must-see-TV. OTOH, it held my attention for two hours so it couldn't be all bad. There were a couple of interesting story lines. It's hard to tell from pilots but I would imagine this show would be somewhere in the middle in terms of quality.
