Still am the same, EXCEPT todays adventure was driving about 70 miles each way to rescue a Papillon doggie....My sister had kept her from the original rescuer, knowing that I already had one....The original rescuer kept him for 6 months because they knew she (Piper) would probably fit into this house, but I wanted to be sure the prior owner didn't change her mind. She didn't because she started to have to care for two young grandkids, who were pretty rough with this little 5 pound beauty! Well, got her home, she rode on my shoulder the entire way in pouring down rain....and CZ about had a kniption fit...First wanted to play, then wanted to do you-can-guess-what, and she very firmly, and without any doubt put CZ in his place. Several times. Then she proceeded to to go get some of his toys, and eat some of his food, then sat on his two favorite chairs for awhile....HOW do dogs know how to do this? Maybe she will teach him some manners....She's upstairs here in my office, sleeping at my feet, and he has to stay downstairs in the gated kitchen, because he thinks it's "cool" to "territory" on occasion..... I'm no worse, but no better today....but maybe I can get some rest tomorrow....HA!
