If 10 years from now, Iraq is a thriving Democracy, will you admit you were wrong? My preference would have been to focus all that manpower and money of ours on energy independence instead, but I think despite all of Bush and friends bumbling, they opened a Pandora's box of democracy and freedom in the Middle East that will sweep the region within 20 years time. If that happens, then it will have been worth regardless of what the cost has been. Democracy in the Middle East will pay a peace and wealth dividend the world will greatly benefit from.
