I moved to Ca in the middle of Feb and went swimming in the ocean!!! But I had just left -40 degrees in upstate NYS near the Canadian border. Now that I have lived here for many years I know better than to swim in the Pacific in the winter. Actually it's too cold in the summer also. The oceans are very cold out here........that's why we have great white sharks and even Orca. The seals with all the body fat are right at home in the Pacific. bbbbbbbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!
