I doubt if it is against the law. Most brokerage houses have minimums because they don't want to deal with smaller accounts. Now there are laws regarding margin requirements, and Bone's company has paid fines for not policing that.

But, again. Peanuts. Let's talk about Bush, who is currently president. The Clinton's are out and ain't coming back unless the Constitution is amended and the term limits are lifted. And then it would be Bill and not Hillary. Let's talk about guys just showing up and infusing Bush's companies with millions, no questions asked and no attempt at taking a stake. Let us talk about Bush only ponying up a few thousand for a stake in the Ranger's worth millions.
