Cruzbay re STX/off topic etc. You must have done well with this investment - seems like it could have a way to go yet. Market leader, growing market, high ROE, modest stock price. Please let us know of any other such off topic gems you are aware of.

Not so sure it is totally off topic - exponential growth of cheap and reliable storage will stimulate demand for microprocessors able to handle increased data volumes. (I guess this is a bit of a stretch, but it's the weekend)

Occasional posts on other technology stock opportunities are fine by me, and I don't think excessively off-topic, especially in a quiet period. I like to see posts like this that offer opinions on other technology stocks that an AMD-holder could diversify into. Compare and contrast strengths and weaknesses, sort of.
