Nobody could be as dumb as you are. Why in the world you think the 5-10 minutes of face time the dream team had with W is any more meaningful than W's top gun stunt is a question only the faithful can fathom. I imagine they came because the president asked them, and they're all good citizens. I imagine W paid about as much attention to what they had to say as he pays to anything that isn't previously digested by Karl Rove for him. Why should he pay any attention, anyway, when he's settled in to Dr. Johnny Fever's "Victory" PR campaign? All W's got to do is give a few hundred more "Victory" speeches, and everything will be OK. If you think those grey eminences are all hanging around giving W a policy tutorial, you're even dumber than W. I'd guess they're mostly irritated by the transparent PR aspects of the operation, but grey eminences tend to be quiet about stuff like that. If W's handlers really wanted input from those people, they could have easily gotten it without making a big PR operation out of it, but that's not the W way.
