Iraqis don't have to do anything but demand we leave. They do not have to have troops trained to American standards and fighting for a secular union. They do not HAVE to do anything. The onus is always ON US. We invaded illegally, we're occupying illegally and doing all of it incompetently. We've destroyed their cities, killed their people and have apparently stopped funding reconstruction....oops. Of course they will blame the US and of course the US will try and blame the Iraqis. Them thar's reality and the responsible ADULT thing to do is accept the will of the sovereign government. Being adult, however, is not something rightwingers can ever do. It's their country, their oil, their government and their future. If they tell us to leave tomorrow because they're sick to death of us, we leave tomorrow. We do not order around a sovereign country or do you still fail to understand that? Is it any wonder why so many Iraqis hate the US now? Is it?
