w.t.t. that "Memory Controller 9%, CPU 10%" in the chart, does anyone here know if the Intel MCH chips actually supply the power supply voltage to the memory chips? I think this is a possibility because
1. It may be necessary to put memory banks into sleep mode, or to vary the voltage to save power when a particular bank is not being used.
2. I have noticed that MCH spec sheets often show a huge maximum DC current draw at a power supply pin that sounds like a memory supply voltage, yet the max power dissipation is way below this maximum V*I at this input.
