Me too...I always wanted to be an astronaut! My flying partner and I did meet a large group of the NASA's leadership and were invited to attend a dinner they were having in NYC...

At the time, a woman astronaut was out of the question, but it didn't stop the dreams. Of course going beyond the Moon was almost as questionable.
