I'd say, I'm right of middle, but I'm definitely not rightwing. As far as John, he seems pretty close to the middle to me, but CJ and Al seem leftwing.

At the end of the day, I know very few people who are completely right or left wing. Most are bizarre combinations of the two. For example, I am a lefty when it comes to taxation and medical care. However, I am a rightwing when it comes to abortion and military. Then again, when it comes to energy and the environment, I am very leftwing. Then come back to farm subsidies or social security and I'm rightwing. Then talk about gay marriage and I don't think our gov't has the right to legislate against civil unions between gay couples, which is leftwing, but I do think it is wrong, so I think that religions should have the right to refuse to marry gay couples under the eyes of God, which is rightwing thinking. That is why I say I'm close to the middle. My politics are left AND right, depending on the issue.

Nuances folks. Kerry said we needed a more nuanced leader. I agreed with him then and believe it is so now. You, tejek, are not nuanced at all. You've given up all reason in your anti-Bush tirades. I think he sux too, but I don't let it blind me.

The only reason you're not standing with Bush is because he proved to be incompetent in Iraq. Had he succeeded like you imagined he would

Saddam Hussein's regime is gone never to reappear again.

That sounds like success to me.

Way to go George!
