Some are right wing, some left wing, and some don't have much bias. However, the key is that whenever the article points out a fact that you don't like, you call it leftwing. No. I don't.........you continue to imagine things that are not true. First of all, I am most critical of extremist rightwing rags. I will tolerate the NRO and Fox although the quality of their journalism is uneven at times. Secondly, inspite of your comment above, I am from the left so why would I criticize articles that lean towards the left? Thirdly, I could post all kinds of articles from leftwing rags that would make your head spin. Sometimes they are nearly as bad as newsmax and the weekly standard but at least they still make an attempt at good journalism. Instead, I go for those media outlets that try to be the most neutral even if they don't always succeed. That would include but not be limited to the NY Times, WSJ, FOX, CNN, MSNBC, the WA Post, the Guardian, the London Times, Time, Newsweek.....the mainstream media. I remember a year or so ago, I posted an article from Friedman and the New York Times and you spent an entire post lambasting the NYT as a rightwing propaganda machine. Huh? You are making it up......worse its nonsense. I previously have been critical of the NY Times in that they went along with Bush during the lead up to the Iraqi war when they should have been objecting. They allowed one of their journalists......Miller.......who has since been fired to lead them down Bush's primrose path. But I never considered them a rightwing propaganda machine. Fox holds that title. The NYT staff would have been aghast because they consider themselves to be fairly leftwing, and so does the rest of the world. You know.....if you spent as much time digging up the facts as you do dwelling on partisan issues, we would be much better able to communicate. The problem is you are not being honest with yourself or with anyone else, and without honesty, there can not be meaningful dialogue.......with anyone.
