My biggest anti- US$ hedge is my Canadian commodity stocks, which pay out (often generously) in Canadian dollars. I expect the loonie to hit parity with the $US within six months and overshoot on the upside. That could add 20% to other gains. In fact, I began to invest this way the loonie was priced at about $0.65, maybe less, so there has already been a lot of upside.

I think Canada is already the largest energy supplier to the U.S. and is the largest producer of uranium in the world. And there are all sorts of other natural resources as well. Even water, in enormous abundance.
