We should be paying under $20 per month here. It is a ripoff by the entrenched RBOCs and the "umbrella" they give Comcast and the rest to charge what the consumer thinks it is worth.

It is a national utility, in the broadest sense, and South Korea and apparently China know how to do it right.

I know one of Dell's component manufacturers were originally manufacturing their component for Dell in the USA. Then when China became the rave, they simply created a division in China, so now they manufacture the same component for Dell through their China division.

So, if you think Dell isn't getting components in China, you're wrong.

What I don't know, is if American firms are treated unfavorably compared to Chinese firms that may get heavy govt subsidies?
