I wonder if the FBI is chasing muslim teenagers around Lodi any longer. You'd think if they had the time, they'd find OBL. Law enforcement is lazy-lazy-lazy and incompetent-incompetent-incompetent. Why is it that 20 murderous thugs with $250K can stop an entire country of 300 million in its tracks? Why is it that 1 FAILED shoe bomber requires tens of millions to take off their sneaks? Law enforcement can't do its job so they send in the military which blows everything up. The Dumbya administration then says, oops, we've spent so much money on BigOil and BigDefense profits we don't have anything left over to rebuild what we've destroyed. Sorry Iraqis. You're on your own but make sure your oil comes only to us. The US government is a mess. It isn't competent so it goes after its own citizens to hide its failings. You'd think with the sheer size of the NSA and its eavesdropping on everything it COULD HAVE PREVENTED 911 FROM HAPPENING IN THE FIRST PLACE. Why is it that so few BLAME the US government for 911?

Amanpour doesn't live in the US. IF one of her calls had been listened to (CNN has reported she wasn't monitored at all) it was because she was talking to someone in or connected to a terror group. Perfectly ok to monitor all such people. Besides since she lives in London, the domestic monitoring angle doesn't apply at all. Apparently you are opposed to all spying on terrorists, not just when they call people in the US. No wonder Americans don't trust liberal Democrats with national security.
