When AMD says volume production, they mean volume shipments, unless it is clear by context -- such as, "we will begin volume production..." In the context of a processor roadmap, it shows OUTPUT, not wafer starts.

Yonah did NOT have "volume production" in Q4. I'd be shocked if 1% of their sales in Q4 were Yonae.

re: AMD´s roadmap called for volume production of DC Turion in Q2/06

AMD's roadmaps haven't shown quarterly resolution in a long time. In fact it has been OVER SIX MONTHS since AMD released a roadmap with even 6-month granularity!Take a look at epscontest.com!

I consider it probable that all Fab 36 production is using the enhanced SiGe process, and it is a distinct possibility that all of it has Pacifica and DDR2 support as well, though Pacifica might require a respin.

Furthermore, a roadmap shows OUTPUT, not wafer starts. So if an AMD roadmap showed DC Turions in Q2, that's when we can buy them, not when they begin wafer starts.
